How it works?
The Slede gives you the same freedom as skateboarding, where you can take control of your environment. You can make a spot wherever you want. Whether it’s a spot in your backyard, children’s sled hill, or a run at your local ski resort. Jump on your Slede and go.
Slede’s idea is to keep skateboard- touch and balance a priority when creating our product in order to provide a skateboard-style experience in snowy conditions. If you can skateboard, you can ride a Slede. If you don’t skate, you can learn on a Slede!
Maneuverability is also dependent on the surface you ride. We have two different blades for different snow conditions. They keep the direction when you ride.
IN THIS ENVIRONMENT, WE NEED OUR SKIS TO RESIST IMPACT
To make durable skis, we decided to use the same materials as snowboards. They have a sturdy base that can be waxed and maintained. The skis are light, but also strong enough to provide the riding experience you prefer.
Replacing a changeable edge is simple. You can do it even without opening the union of ski and connector. All you need to do is unscrew 2 screws.
ALL ON BOARD! THE GRIP IS WHAT MATTERS
Our exellent rubberfoam grip is holding you on board. We like our grip matte 100% rubber, as it allows for grip in very low temperatures- even if you have snow on your boot sole. Trust is reliant on grip, and you can trust it while bombing a steep hill.
In addition, our Skateboard deck is 7-ply canadian maple with a steep concave for handling in slippery conditions.
